Design Bio
The Stray Bobbin has three very talented creators. Mistianne is the quilter (been quilting longer than wants to admit). She not only designs quilts, but enters them into quilt competitions. She has been making and/or finishing quilts for other people since 2000. The quilting is always done by hand with attention to when the quilt top was made. Mistianne recently finished her degree in Patchwork and Quilting level 4 from the City Guilds of London through the School of Stitched Textiles. She began creating tutus when, in 2018, she was asked to refurbish 18 tutus. Another passion was awoken and playing with bling has taken over her. She has furthered her knowledge through online classes,

Karis has been a dancer from a young age. She is currently studying with the Edinburgh Festival Ballet preprofessional program. She started out helping Mistianne with quilts and was the model for the many tutus. She eventually dived in to the tutu making and now creates many of her own.

Tessa started out helping with designing quilts and quickly turned to designing the more unusual tutus, such as a steam punk and Astrid/viking. She currently is at Southern Oregon University studying digital media design with the end result to become a teacher.
